We are recruiting for the Mining Services division where we focus on: •Due diligence •Feasibility studies; •Competent persons reports; •Mineral resource evaluation; •Mineral asset evaluation; •Exploration geology; •Mineral resource and reserve audits; •Geostatistical analysis; •Underground mine planning; •Open pit mine planning and scheduling and scheduling; •Open pit geotechnical consulting; •Underground geotechnical consulting; •Risk Assessments We are looking for: CONSULTING MINING ENGINEERS Minimum qualification: A BSc degree in a mining related field. These individuals are preferably a PR Eng with operational and consulting experience. Our first choice is for people who have held senior positions in the industry. CONSULTING GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERS Minimum qualification: MSc Rock Mechanics or equivalent degree. Individuals with experience in underground or open pit operations will be considered. CONSULTING EXPLORATION GEOLOGIST Minimum qualification: BSc in Geology. Experience in exploration and mineral resource evaluation. Exposure to a wide range of commodities would be preferable. Must be conversant with the SAMREC code. Detailed knowledge of QA QC standards and procedures. CONSULTING MINING ENGINEER OPEN PIT Minimum qualification: BSc in related field. Experience in open pit geotechnical design, optimization programmes, scheduling and equipment selection. CONSULTING MINERAL RESOURCE GEOLOGIST Minimum qualification: A BSc degree in Geology preferably with a post gradate qualification. This individual would be experienced in ore reserve calculations and analysis using geostatistical techniques and modelling. We require an individual who has held Senior level positions in industry and/ consulting. CONSULTING MECHANICAL ENGINEER (MINING) Minimum qualification: A BSc Eng (Mehanical) This individual would have provided technical direction to large scale mining operations, co-ordinated the implementation of major capital projects and be up to date on both recent and proven mining and related engineering technology. QUANTITY SURVEYOR/ ESTIMATOR ( MINING) Minimum qualification: A BSc Quantity Surveying. Experiencing in the costing and estimating of large scale mining, power, water and civil engineering projects. Knowledge of civil works, structural steelwork, mechanical works, piping, bills of quantities, contract documentation, claims and valuations and final accounts. MINING ANALYST/ FINANCIAL MODELLER Minimum qualification: Relevant tertiary and post graduate qualification. Experience in the metals, minerals and coal industry and up to date knowledge of structured financing, deal making, financial modelling and evaluation. This individual must be highly analytical and numerate with excellent attention to detail with exceptional report writing, presentation and interpersonal skills.
